An invitation to the world of art using the most exciting tool available, Virtual Reality. Louvre Abu Dhabi commissioned FGreat to create 3 VR films for its innovative exhibition Manga Lab in 2019.
Teenage Manga Masters: Manga Lab, the Louvre Abu Dhabi's first space dedicated to young adults, brings Japanese art to life for a new generation.
VR Immersion: Three immersive experiences based on Japanese paintings were created using Oculus Go headsets.
360° Worlds: Young viewers are transported into the heart of these artworks, experiencing a complete 360-degree virtual world.
Spatial Soundscapes: To heighten immersion, the audio mixes were designed as 3rd order ambisonics using the FB spatial workstation. This cutting-edge technology creates a realistic and dynamic soundscape that moves with the viewer in the VR experience.
A World of Sound: While the videos here showcase a downmixed stereo version, the full effect is achieved within the VR experience, where sounds seamlessly blend with the visuals for a truly immersive journey into Japanese art.
