It was an honor to contribute to the audio for this captivating documentary exploring the remarkable bond between Keith Cooper and the stingrays of the Bahamas.
Building the Underwater World: Since location sound recording was limited, the soundscape for the documentary was built and crafted in post-production.
- Narration with Finesse: The narration track received careful attention, with minor pacing adjustments, and necessary audio processing such as gentle compression, sibilance de-essing, room de-verb and removal of unnecessary filler words to ensure a smooth and engaging delivery.
- A World of Sound: Immersive ocean ambiences, underwater soundscapes, and natural elements were created and refined to transport viewers to the heart of the Bahamas' marine environment.
- Details that Matter: Subtle spot sound effects, such as footsteps and specific actions, were added to further enhance the realism of the mini documentary.
- Scoring the Connection: A supplied complementary music score was then integrated and mixed, creating an emotional soundscape that underscores the unique connection between humans and stingrays.
