The Next Five: A Polished Soundscape for Every Episode

FT Studio productions, including the "Next Five" podcast series, benefit from an audio post-production package, delivering a clear and engaging listening experience.

Prioritising Clarity: The workflow prioritises cleaning and enhancing the talent's recordings. This involves noise reduction and subtle compression to even out dynamic range, followed by volume gain automation for a smooth and consistent listen that creates less compression artefacts.

Tailored Techniques: Corrective EQ if required, mouth click reduction, sibilance reduction, breath reduction, and room reverb reduction are applied to optimise the audio quality. Often the host’s voice is recorded on the move.

Crafting the Narrative: Edits and mixes are produced to seamlessly follow the producers' scripts. Close collaboration with the production team ensures revisions are incorporated until the podcast is finalised and meets everyone's approval.
