The creative tells a story of how small choices Noble Oak make in its distillation create a big change now, (A great whiskey); with a tree being planted for every bottle sold to benefit a future generation. (A noble heart). The film works in two ways, normal playing showing the fully grown tree journeying back into a seed. Then also reversed from the seed growing into the tree. A 3D pipeline production process headed up by Gabor and One Small Pixel was chosen, keeping consistency across the shots through time.

The sound design plays a big part in providing the necessary textural, organic and auditory realism. Marco and wide shots help us zoom in and out, from macro levels of detail in the forest, hearing sounds that rarely get to be uncovered or heard. Lots of moving textures were captured for twisting trees, crunching bark, snapping twigs, squeaking ants.

Careful attention was given to the overall mix balance, with the dialogue not being too predominant that it weakens the impact of the sounds taking place. This was a heavy SFX focused mix and the team were keen in seeing this make the final version.
