Now in it’s 2nd year, Grue returned to Scarborough’s old parcel office. Built by the community, made entirely of recycled and repurposed materials. A fantastical world created from positive energy and discarded paper; a wandering cardboard labyrinth of rooms to explore and wonders to discover. A poem guides the audience to explore and navigate through the experience.

7 themed areas each had an audio source playing back designed sound, ranging from a broken entrance at the start to the final room with a giant creature.

In areas that featured more of a musical ambience, it was important these seperate works were in a similar scale and key. Thus avoiding any spill from different rooms creating any unwanted dissonance across the entire installation.
