The national membership body for football fans - The FSA. We wanted to make a trailer which looked hopefully to the next ten years of Fans For Diversity, and football. Where fans of all backgrounds come together in the stands to watch the game we love. To affirm that ‘diversity’ doesn’t have to mean less for some, but can mean more for everyone.

Sound Design and Mix Development
The sound design and mix were developed over a number of revisions to bring the match day story to the audience.
Building the Soundscape
Starting with a picture-locked AAF export containing the dialogue, the music track was then carefully edited to match the narrative's progression. A rich collection of sound recordist takes provided ample material for building layered, dynamic crowd ‘walla’ soundscapes. The opening scene was amplified with crowd ambience to evoke the bustling atmosphere of a match day on the streets. Additional foley and library sounds were integrated to deepen the narrative, culminating in a crescendo of excitement as the story reaches its climax.
Sound Manipulation for Dramatic Effect
Convolution reverb and EQ filtering were employed to enhance key parts of the action. By manipulating space and frequency, a palpable sense of tension and impending confrontation was created, for example, when the main group runs towards the male couple, ultimately resolving the scene with a positive shift in tone.
