Granular Synthesis: Mirroring the 3D Printing Process

The sound design and ambient music concept for this project heavily utilises granular synthesis. This technique generates sound by manipulating tiny snippets of audio samples, known as "grains." The choice of granular synthesis reflects the 3D printing process used to create the flag, where the object is built and layered from minute plastic granules.
